He hissed out a sigh, then suddenly became rigid as he felt other vibrations around him. Through his eyes, he hazily saw three figures standing above him. He hissed again then jumped at the nearest man, sinking his fangs deep into his shoulder. He then wrapped his body around the man's neck, tightening his muscles, squeezing the breath out of him. Before the man could pass out, either by the venom or the suffocation, Shadow felt someone cut into his skull, some substance now flowing through his bloodstream, paralyzing his muscles.. He immediately relinquished his hold on both the man's neck and shoulder, plummeting to the ground. Shadow could only watch helplessly as one of the other men walked over to him and slung his body over his shoulder. No matter how much he wanted to bite the man, his body simply would not respond.
