The Payment Arrangement refers to the payment and settlement arrangement under which the Domestic Foreign Currency Payment System links up with Hong Kong Real Time Gross Settlement System or with the network of the agent banks in Hong Kong via the Mainland settlement agent banks and their agent banks (or branches, the same below) in Hong Kong, and the Mainland banks and Hong Kong banks may issue and receive multi-currency cross-border payment instructions through Domestic Foreign Currency Payment System and Hong Kong Payment System (or the network of agent banks in Hong Kong) respectively.
