Action作为一个名词,指的是行为、动作和事件的总称,常用来指人们的实际行动,比如说某人的行为或表现,如:He took prompt actions to help the poor. 他采取迅速的行动来帮助穷人。也可以指行政机构的行动,如:The government took urgent actions to control the epidemic. 政府采取紧急行动来控制这场疫情。
Action也可以指一个活动,或一个演出或比赛中的一个过程,如:The action of Romeo and Juliet was quite thrilling. 罗密欧与朱丽叶的表演特别令人激动。
Action还可以指某人在工作中所采取的措施,表示思考和实施。如:The teacher always encourages students to take proactive actions. 老师总是鼓励学生采取积极的行动。
