Adrenal insufficiency is a medical condition in which the body doesn't produce enough hormones, such as corticosteroids and/or androgens, due to insufficient functioning of the adrenal glands. Prognosis for this condition is good when diagnosis and treatment occur in a timely manner. Long-term management involves lifestyle changes such as avoiding stress and eating a healthy diet.
