Differential flotation, also known as selective flotation, is a kind of ore separation process, which exploits the differences in the surface properties of different minerals. Differential flotation is mainly used for the separation of mixed minerals with different properties. The basic method is to add suitable depressants to avoid the oxidation of sulfide minerals to oxide minerals during the grinding process, and then add the collectors suitable for oxide minerals and sulfide minerals respectively. The oxide minerals and sulfide minerals react with the collectors, enter different collectors in the flotation process, and finally achieve the purpose of separation.
