endemically是一个形容词，意思是“地方性的”。

Endemically用在比较特殊的情况下，比如说和一个特定的地域有关的疾病，行为，风俗习惯等。也就是说，当一种疾病，行为，风俗习惯是仅存在于某一地域，或是某一地方的独特特征时，就可以用endemically来形容。

举个例子，美国西部有一种嗜好甘蔗的传统，就可以用endemically来形容：The traditional taste of chewing on sugar cane is endemically found in the Western United States.

另外，endemically也可以用来形容某些病毒在某一地区的传播情况，比如：The flu virus is endemically spread throughout the region.
