tout是一个英语单词，它有两个主要意思：1. 拉客(买家)；2. 夸耀。
拉客方面，tout作名词时，指一个向客人招揽人的人，也可以指的是一种招揽客人的方式，例如：

B: OK, I'll do it.
作动词时，tout意思是向客人招揽，也可以指大肆宣扬，例如：
The company touts its products at every trade show.
夸耀方面，tout也可以表示大肆夸耀，常与praise或recommend连用，例如：
